Parni Valjak, one of the most prominent bands in this region and this year’s winners of the Porin Lifetime Achievement Award, announces a long-awaited solo concert in Varaždin, as part of this year’s tour. The concert will be held on Thursday, December 26th this year at the Varaždin Arena, and tickets are available for sale on the Eventim website.
After performing at last year’s Špancirfest, Parni Valjak will once again be performing in front of an audience in Varaždin with Igor Drvenkar. Just last August, they performed at the aforementioned Špancirfest in front of almost twenty thousand visitors, completely filling Vrazova Street and the area in front of the main stage, thus rounding out the festival and breaking the attendance record. As part of the current tour “Parni Valjak 2024 Tour”, they are returning to Varaždin for their long-awaited solo concert, which will be held on December 26th at the Varaždin Arena.
Announcing a new studio album, the band released their fourth single in a row in the past year in May, titled “Kad padne mrak”. The new song bears the recognizable authorial signature of Husein Hasanefendić Hus and immediately entered the HR Top 40 chart in the first week of radio broadcast, at a high second place. Since singer Igor Drvenkar joined them in a new chapter of the band in March 2023, Parni Valjak has also released new authorial singles “Moja glava, moja pravila”, “Bogati će pobjeći na Mars” and “Sad kad znaš”, which were met with a positive reaction from the audience and all reached the leading positions on the HR Top 40 radio broadcast chart.
